Rajendranagar Zone is GHMC's southern zone, covering Attapur, Falaknuma, Chandrayangutta, Jangammet, Kishanbagh, Rajendranagar township, and Bahadurpura. It is the largest zone in GHMC by number of circles, comprising 6 administrative circles and 29 wards, spanning from the Old City fringe to the southern suburban townships.
The zone includes the historic Falaknuma Palace, a landmark of Nizam-era architecture, as well as newer residential layouts at Rajendranagar and Kismatpur. It is well connected via the Old City road network and Outer Ring Road feeders. GHMC administers all civic services and property tax for Rajendranagar Zone wards.
