The zone covers Saroornagar, Champapet, Vanasthalipuram, Hayathnagar, and the Kothapet and Lingojiguda areas, comprising 4 circles and 24 wards.
The zone serves a predominantly working-class and lower-middle-income population, with high residential density and active commercial markets. It is well connected to the rest of the city via the metro and TSRTC bus network.
