Shamshabad Zone is GHMC's southernmost administrative zone, covering the area around the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Badangpet, Jalpally, Adibatla, and the fast-developing Turkayamjal industrial belt. The zone comprises 4 circles — Adibatla, Badangpet, Jalpally, and Shamshabad — covering 17 wards.
The zone's proximity to the international airport and Outer Ring Road has made it a hotspot for logistics, aviation-related industries, and affordable residential growth. Adibatla is emerging as a major aerospace manufacturing cluster. All civic services for Shamshabad Zone are administered by GHMC.
