Khairatabad Zone is the premium residential and commercial heart of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), covering Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Ameerpet, Somajiguda, and Himayatnagar. The zone is divided into 5 circles — Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Borabanda, Yousufguda, and Ameerpet — covering 25 wards across some of Hyderabad's most sought-after addresses.

The zone is home to embassies, private hospitals, premium hotels, the Telugu film industry hub at Film Nagar, and Hyderabad's most active commercial corridors along Ameerpet and Panjagutta. It is well-connected by the Red Line metro. Property tax, building plan approvals, and civic complaints for all Khairatabad Zone wards are handled by GHMC.
